Arya’s Daughter started in 2019 to explore artisanal traditions and how to integrate them into todays lifestyle. Above all, a lifetime brand we love discovering and innovating traditional materials and artisanal methods. Support for the dying artisanal traditions in many cultures and helping newer generations appreciate and realize their value is our guiding force.

Travels revives the spirit and memories in the form of souvenirs are omnipresent in our house with family trips to Hawai where I came home with a white ceramic bowl in the shape of a turtle (that I still use today), to trips to Mexico and Turkey were I picked up Turkish towels and Mexican linen to Indian where I fell in love with block print table sets, cushion covers and linens. Finally in Kenya I brought home an enormous golden amethyst stone necklace and an intricately carved fish bowl by Masai artists, both of which I carried on my lap during the transatlantic flight, and still have a place in my home today. I realized that I love artisanal work and using their products in the everyday.

Arya’s Daughter is a call out to the future generations. A place to remember the past and integrate it in our present.

The savoir-faire of our ancestors is a dying tradition that I want to preserve. I always thought that creativity, design and aesthetics were a far gone idea for myself, but as I slowly created my space on the web I flexed my creativity, opened my designs inspiration and found my calling.
